About the Committee

Welcome to Artscene

The on-line presence of the Arts and Culture Committee of the City of Niagara Falls

Artscene endeavours to promote an awareness of and appreciation for arts, cultural, and heritage activities within our community. The committee looks forward to connecting you with many talented organizations and persons in our city.

We offer you a terrific mix of interests from both the audience or the spectator side -- as well as artists & institutions, and producers & artefacts, pooled from a wide range of disciplines and sources: literature, dance, music, (choral, instrumental, & vocal), theatre, craft, fine art, photography, and history.

  • criteria for the acquisition of public art;
  • guidelines for the management, preservation, interpretation, development and promotion of the City’s public art collection;
  • a foundation on which to develop programs that allow Niagara Falls’ residents and visitors to experience art in public places.
